The options are endless for your stay. In the springtime enjoy views of the birds coming back to the open waters of the lake. We love watching the loons and the eagles in the mornings from our screened in porch. Head on over to Albion Park just down the road for picnics, hiking, or just large open areas for your kids to burn some energy. Grab a local bottle of wine from a nearby winery and sip it by the fireplace with your fresh chocolates from the local candy store. Ah Summertime. The best time for the lake! We have a beach/swimming area right on our property for you to enjoy. A pontoon is available for rent and we have a dock if you'd like to bring your own boat as well. We have water toys, sand toys, a canoe, paddle boards and more for you to enjoy outdoors. Be sure to get your s'more fix in at night around the fire while you listen to the night sounds of the lake. In the fall, you must get out and enjoy the colors! Take a hike, grab your camera for photos of the trees around the lake, build leaf piles in the yard. There are a few apple orchards nearby that offer both kids and adult activities. Grab some apples and head back to the cabin to bake a homemade pie and sip on a fresh jug of local apple cider. In the wintertime our cabin includes ice skates in numerous sizes (we can't guarantee we have your size), sleds, a pair of cross country skis and snow toys. Want to try your hand at ice fishing? We have an icehouse* located on the lake within walking distance from our cabins front door with pre-drilled holes, a heater and fishing equipment. Want to stay inside and relax during your stay? No problem. We have 6 smartTV's with wifi to catch up on show-binging, a jetted tub to soak in for hours, a fireplace with reading options from baby to grandma and warm & plush throws with plenty of mugs to fill with hot chocolate or coffee. *Icehouse is seasonal and is only on the lake during safe ice levels.

Our boat is not there but we have a boat lift, 2 canoes, 2 sit in kayaks and Lilypad mat. The house is octagonal with a ceiling fan and windows on all sides which create an incredible breeze throughout the home from the lake and makes for a very comfortable setting without AC. Comes with an AC window unit for the lower level bedroom. Rarely if ever used. Washer and dryer available in lower level. A true family get-away. Pets & children welcome.

You will have use of our dock as well as two kayaks. Our side of the lake is shallow near the shoreline, which makes for a fun swimming experience for the kids. The lake is popular with fishermen and women, and is a great lake for recreational boating. There are multiple public and private boat launches on the lake. There are also several boat rental agencies in the area - including one located right on our lake. There’s even a boat-up bait shop/gas stop on the lake. Additionally, the house is located within a 5 minute drive from Annandale, a charming small town in the center of the Heart of the Lakes There are many restaurants and bars in the area, including a waterfront restaurant/bar on the far side of our lake with great views. The Swappers Meet is also a local Saturday morning favorite and an institution in the area - and just a few minutes drive away. The home sits on a bluff, making the views truly unbeatable. Not interested in getting your cardio in climbing stairs? No problem - a new mechanical hillside lift will bring you and your gear safely up and down the hill with the flip of a switch in less than a minute. It is worth noting that due to our location on a bluff, families with small children will need to be extra attentive to their children while on the bluff side to ensure their safety. All the bedrooms have wonderful views of the lake. There are 2 new bathrooms with showers. The boat house is considered the 4th bedroom. It is separate from the main cabin. It has a king bed and gas fireplace. There is an extra fee of $50 per night to rent the boat house. (if more than 8 guests, you must rent the boat house) The level lot has two great outdoor spaces to enjoy the view of the lake. A fire pit area with 6 Adirondack chairs and a patio area with 6 more Adirondack chairs and outdoor coffee table. The side yard has enough room to play yard games like bocce ball or bean bag toss. There is also a basketball hoop in the parking area. The front porch deck has seating for 4 and a propane grill. There is a 32' dock for your boat or pontoon. Two kayaks, a paddle board, swim floats and life jackets are available during your stay.
